Some Music I Made

Over the last couple of years I've started making experimental electronic music in my copious amounts of sparetime now that I have finished school and have a regular schedule. At the beginning of this year I released This EP on bandcamp. These tracks were recorded and mixed at different points in 2020. I actually had almost 6 times as many songs in different states of completion but these ones all felt related to each other sonically so I grouped them into an EP, wrote a little sketch app for the cover art using a rust framework for creative code called Nannou and threw it up on bandcamp. The rest of this year I have been continuing to work on tracks the best of these are still in the pipeline currently and I'll be releasing them as I finish them into 2022.

About 3 month ago I also put out another ambient track (I promise I make other kinds of music too) called Nyquist Dreams Again the art was made with Nannou. This time I was messing with a Perlin noise algorithm to change the position and color of the particles. (I'm pretty pleased with that cover actually). The track was made on my modular synth along with one of the tracks from the first EP. This topic deserves its own seperate blog post so watch out for that.

In the next couple weeks I'm going to writing some blog posts about my music making processes so come back in a couple of days if that interests you.

Thanks! -JP
